This little Squirrel and I have been meeting for breakfast
every morning this week. I eat my peanut butter on toast and he has sunflower seeds. I have taken a dozen photos of him but this time he let me get really close. I love how he perches on the edge of the flower pot like a bird using his fluffy grey tail like a counterweight.

I had a pan of water for the birds in that spot last week, which made the little guy have to reach for his seeds. I moved it due to the ugly mess. Although watching him guzzle water was so cute. Mr. Squirrel has amazing hands, long nimble fingers. I wonder how soft he is? He looks velvety.
