Christmas Goodie Cans

Every Christmas I make goodies to give to friends and family and I always have a hard time collecting enough tins, baskets, bags or boxes to transport the treats. This year I started collecting all the coffee cans we emptied.
My hubby cut the wrapping paper with precision and I glued them to the cans.

I save all the cards we get and the stack is huge, so this year I picked some choice ones and fussy cut circles to glue to the lids.

Here is the end result! I am so pleased with the way they came together so easily and thrifty.
I forgot to take a photo of the treats I made so I will tell you. I made truffles, peanut butter fudge and peanut butter filled pretzels dipped in chocolate. So yummy.

Polymer Dragons

This is my first polymer dragon.
He is a sad little dargon
but not as sad as he was when he came out of the toaster oven all burned up because I put it on broil instead of bake!

So I made another one.
I didn't have enough brown so I used orange this time.
Pretty cute I think.

Dream Catchers Doily Style

I made a couple dream catchers this summer. I saw the  idea on pinterest, what's new? and I had to make it immediately. Lucky for me I had everything I needed on hand.

I used one bamboo embroidery hoop seperated and two doilys
I used thread and needle to sew them onto the hoops.

On one of the doilies I sewed a butterfly patch and a string of beads and a charm.
Then I strung bits of yarn, lace beads and feathers from the bottom of both hoops.

My work space.

I made a white and cream one for the guest room and a colorful one for the living room.
I just love it when a project flows out so easily.
